1. International students applying to a Master's program at the Florence Institute of Design International (FIDI) must hold a bachelor's degree in a compatible design related field, such as Graphic Design, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a closely related discipline. Admission is based on the applicant's previous academic background and design experience, as master's programs are intended for students with prior training in the field.
2. Applicants must submit a completed application form, academic transcripts, a copy of their passport or identification document, and a portfolio containing three completed university level projects that demonstrate their design skills and creative development.
3. Portfolio submissions must consist of individual work rather than group projects and should be submitted digitally.
4. For Interior Design and Furniture Design programs, portfolios may include interior, architectural, or industrial design projects with both 2D and 3D elements, while Graphic Design applicants may submit graphic design, illustration, photography, digital media, or related creative work.
5. All master's courses are taught in English, so applicants should possess sufficient English proficiency to undertake graduate level study.
