Application & Fee
Students must submit the first-year undergraduate application.
Application fee: US $30, non-refundable. Fee waivers may be available for qualifying applicants.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of high school (or equivalent), including GED or home-education, with formal transcripts.
For home-education, there is a requirement to submit a STARS record.
Academic Performance / GPA
Strong high school grades expected; competitive candidates often have unweighted GPA between ~ 3.50-4.0, with weighted GPAs possibly exceeding that.
Minimum weighted GPA for basic consideration is about 3.0 for entry / transfer in certain cases.
Standardized Test Scores
Applicants must submit at least one test result: SAT, ACT, or CLT.
For Early Action and Regular Decision, there are deadlines by which test scores must be submitted.
Transcripts & Other Documentation
Official high school transcripts; including all coursework.
For transfer students, transcripts from post-secondary institutions (colleges) also required.
Additional / Program -Specific Requirements
Some majors or programs have earlier deadlines or extra requirements.
For students earning AA (Associate of Arts) in Florida by high school graduation, there are special considerations/regulations under Florida Board of Governors (Regulation 6.005).
English Language Proficiency
Not always explicit for first-year U.S. citizens or residents, but international students will need to show English proficiency. (This is more explicitly stated for graduate level.)
