Fontys does not own its own student dormitories but works with trusted landlords and housing agencies to help international students find accommodation for their first semester or academic year. You can apply for this assistance through Fontys if you live abroad, are applying for an English-taught programme, and have a non-Dutch educational background. However, applying does not guarantee a room, as spaces are limited, and students must meet all criteria before the deadlines (15 June for Fall, 8 December for Spring)
Accommodation options include standard student rooms (private room with shared kitchen/bathroom, <€750), semi-studios (private bathroom, shared or private kitchen, <€800), and independent studios (all private facilities, >€800 for bachelor students only). All rooms are furnished with at least a bed (including bedding), cupboard, desk, and chair. Shared facilities include kitchen utensils and laundry access. The accommodation is typically located within 30 minutes by bicycle from the Fontys campus .
