Bachelor’s Degree

Must hold an earned baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. 

Transcripts

Official transcripts of all undergraduate (and any previous graduate) coursework. 

Standardized Tests / Specialty Exams (for certain programs)

Some graduate programs, particularly in the School of Education (M.Ed., M.A.T.), require recent test scores like GRE, Miller Analogies Test, or PRAXIS II specialty area exam. 

Alternatively, valid teaching certificate in certain cases may substitute. 

Letters of Recommendation

Usually at least 2 letters from academic or professional references who can attest to potential for graduate-level study. 

Statement of Purpose / Written Statement

Some programs require a written philosophy or statement explaining reasons for admission, goals, etc. For example, in Education programs. 

Additional Program-Specific Requirements

Depending on the discipline, there may be prerequisites (e.g. certain undergraduate courses), minimum GPA thresholds, or required experience. 

Some graduate programs may require test scores only if undergraduate record is not strong.
