The university's general infrastructure is designed to support a holistic educational experience. It features fully equipped smart classrooms, ICT-based laboratories, a Media Lab, a MOOCs Lab, and a Language Lab. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with decent speed. It also provides essential amenities such as a central library, cafeteria, bank facility (Punjab National Bank and Bank of India), bus services, and a post office. The university is committed to sustainability, with water conservation facilities like rainwater harvesting, and is an alcohol and tobacco-free campus.
Student life at GGV is vibrant and multifaceted. The university has 32 departments and over 10,000 students, offering more than 115 on-site and 13 online courses. The campus hosts various events, and the university celebrates International Women's Day with full enthusiasm. The Alumni Cell nurtures lifelong connections, providing a platform for networking, mentorship, and collaboration, fostering an ecosystem where alumni, students, and faculty work together. Career support is provided through the Central Placement Cell, which offers placement assistance, need-based training, and counseling for all students. The Alumni Cell provides career guidance, access to internships, job referrals, and recruitment opportunities, and conducts workshops on emerging skills. completing the university application :
1. Admission is typically made through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) or the entrance examination conducted as per the directions of MHRD, Government of India.
2. For the 5 Year Integrated B.Com. – LL.B. programme: minimum 45% aggregate for General category, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST candidates at the 10+2 level from any recognized Board or equivalent.
