Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Discipline

Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree (e.g. B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, etc.) from a recognized university, typically with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) under general norms. 

Entrance Test / Merit / Admission Exam

Admission to PG programs (MBA, M.Tech, etc.) often involves exams conducted by HITS itself (or university-level tests), depending on the specialization. 

For MBA, HITS may consider HITSCAT / GD / PI (Group Discussion / Personal Interview) in addition to exam scores. 

Program-Specific Eligibility

Some PG programs require specialization in relevant fields. E.g.

For M.Tech, typically a B.Tech (or equivalent) degree in engineering / technology is required. 

For M.Sc / Arts / Science PG courses, candidates may need a related undergraduate degree (e.g. B.Sc in a relevant subject) with sufficient marks. 

For MBA, any undergraduate degree is accepted, but with minimum aggregate and meeting selection criteria. 

Reserved Category Relaxation

Reserved category (SC / ST / OBC) candidates may have a lower minimum threshold (e.g. 45% instead of 50%) as per university / state policy.
