For regular and English-taught programs like IGS (Integrated Global Studies), Hiroshima University sets the following:

Applicants must have completed 12 years of school education (or equivalent) in their home country. 

Proficiency in English is often required, especially for English-taught programs: e.g. minimum scores are specified (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.) for the IGS program. 

The university holds Overseas Entrance Interview Examinations (in July or November) or on-campus examinations (in November / February) depending on the selection system. 

Required documents typically include: application form, academic transcripts, proof of graduation or expected graduation, English proficiency certificate, passport copy, photograph, and other supporting documents. 

For International Students, a Certificate of Financial Support (or equivalent proof of funds) is needed to support visa / resident status application.
