1. Fashion Design Visual Communication Management Scholarships

IED Barcelona calls on students from all over the world to take part in the Scholarship Contest. The school provides 28 (twenty-eight) international scholarships in the fields of Fashion, Design, Visual Communication or Management for Masters (17 scholarships) and Postgraduate Courses (11 scholarships) - in English and Spanish - in Barcelona. Candidates will be required to put forward ideas and projects under the theme “As a designer, what can you contribute to improving the future?”

Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines

The contest is opened for students - no age limit - all over the world. Applicants should develop their idea in sync with the course they wish to take. The project has to be submitted with a description in the language in which their chosen course is held. A Selection Committee will judge and award the scholarships to the best works.

ID (Spanish students) or Passport (international students) scanned.

University Diploma (Bachelor, Undergraduate Degree or equivalent) scanned.

Motivation Letter in the Postgraduate’s language.

A CV in the Postgraduate’s language specifying languages level and computer skills.

Advanced knowledge of Spanish or English as appropriate. For courses taught in English requires an intermediate level, corresponding to a paper TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.5. For courses in Spanish requires a level B2.  In case you don’t have any qualification, it will be necessary to assess your level through an in-person or Skype interview.

2. IED Barcelona Scholarship Contest

IED Barcelona organizes a Scholarship Contest every year for young applicants of all nationalities wishing to pursue a career in Fashion, Design, and Visual Communication or Management academic year for the Undergraduate Degrees, Bachelor and Diplomas Courses (English and Spanish) in Barcelona. The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee. Candidates will be required to put forward ideas and projects under the theme “As a designer, what can you contribute to improving the future?”

Eligibility Criteria /Scholarship Guidelines

To be the part of the scholarship candidate:

Must be interested in Fashion, Design, Visual Communication or Management.

Must be under 26 years old.

All Nationalities can apply.
