1. Academic Entry Criteria

High School Qualification: A minimum of four relevant IGCSEs at grade C (4), or equivalent high school completion with solid grades.

Subject Requirements:

For Engineering & Computer Science foundation programs: Requires completion of Physics or a closely related subject with a fulfilled grade or percentage equivalent.

For the Medical Foundation Program: Requires Biology and Chemistry at the appropriate grade level.

Country-Specific Equivalents: IFG provides a detailed, country-specific academic entry table for applicants from diverse qualifications systems (e.g., CBSE, A-Levels, IB, etc.), ensuring clarity for applicants worldwide.

2. Application Process

Fully Online Application: Prospective students must complete and submit their applications through IFG’s online system.

Required Documents: Applicants are asked to upload:

Passport copy

Latest academic transcripts

Any English language qualifications (if held)

Conditional Offers & Placement Testing:

IFG typically issues a conditional offer within three days of application submission.

If English proficiency documentation is lacking, students can take the IFG English placement test, a 30-minute multiple-choice assessment, followed by a brief online interview.

3. Offer Acceptance & Deposit

After meeting all academic and language conditions, applicants are required to accept the offer and pay a deposit.

Once the deposit is received, an unconditional offer letter is issued, usable for visa applications if needed.

In cases of visa rejection, the deposit is refunded minus a £100 administrative fee.
