Dr. Semir Beyaz is one of İzmir Institute of Technology’s prominent alumni in the field of molecular biology and cancer research. He began his undergraduate studies in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at IZTECH in 2005 and became involved in important research projects during and after his studies. He later developed an international research career, including work at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in the United States. He completed both his bachelor’s degree in 2009 and master’s degree in 2012 in Molecular Biology and Genetics at IZTECH.
