İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) has a large, research-oriented campus located in Gülbahçe Village in Urla, İzmir, approximately 60 km from central İzmir, 15 km from Urla and 35 km from Çeşme. Covering around 35 km², the campus is one of Türkiye’s largest university campuses and benefits from its coastal setting near Gülbahçe Bay and the Aegean Sea.
