Bachelor’s Admission Requirements – Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU Linz)

1. General University Entrance Qualifications:

Austrian Qualifications:

Matura diploma (Austrian school-leaving certificate) or equivalent.

University enrollment eligibility examination (Studienberechtigungsprüfung) for those without a Matura diploma.

German Qualifications:

Abitur (Allgemeine Hochschulreife) from Germany is accepted.

Equivalent International Qualifications:

Recognized secondary school diplomas from South Tyrol, Liechtenstein, and other countries.

A three-year post-secondary degree from an accredited Austrian or foreign institution.

2. Specific Program Requirements:

Descriptive Geometry Requirement:

Some programs (e.g., technical degrees) require proof of Descriptive Geometry coursework (minimum 4 hours/week).

If missing, a supplementary examination may be required.

3. Language Proficiency:

German-taught Programs:

English-taught Programs:
