Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have graduated from high school no more than two years prior to the current year.
For students from inside the UAE: A UAE Secondary School Certificate with minimum averages depending on curriculum:
Elite track: 75%
Advanced: 80%
General: 90%
Other curricula equivalent: 75%
Applied track students are not eligible
International applicants (outside UAE) must meet corresponding curriculum criteria (e.g., AP, A-Level, IB scores).
Standardized Testing & Proficiency
EmSAT Requirements (for UAE applicants):
English: 1400 or IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79
Math: 1250
Physics: 1000
One elective (Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science): 1000
Arabic: 700 (waivable for non-Arabic speakers)
International English Proficiency Standards (replacements): IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79 acceptable.
Documentation & Admission Process
Required documents include an attested high school certificate, a completed online application form, and English language proof.
Students are directly admitted to the first year—the university no longer offers foundation year admissions.
