The Laurea University of Applied Sciences Vantaa (Tikkurila) campus accepts international students for its undergraduate programmes through the Finnish national application system.
To apply, international applicants must have a recognized upper secondary school qualification (12 years of schooling or equivalent) that provides eligibility for higher education in their home country.
Accepted qualifications include diplomas such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), European Baccalaureate (EB), or other national high-school certificates.
Applicants must submit their application through the Studyinfo.fi portal and upload required documents such as their secondary school graduation certificate, academic transcripts, and proof of English language proficiency (if required). Admission is usually based on selection methods such as the International UAS entrance exam or SAT test scores, depending on the programme.

Between 2022 and 2024, Laurea participated in the SECUREU project, funded through Erasmus+. The project developed digital learning materials, online modules, and training tools to improve how security risk management is taught in higher education institutions across Europe. The project involved several international partners and focused on blended and online learning methods.
