Housing facilities (Accommodation)

LU provides on-campus housing services for its students. Residence halls, according to LU, are not simply places where you sleep, study, and hang out, but also where your education, identity, and society begin. All first- and second-year students at Lehigh are required to live on campus. Final class students can also apply to reside on campus, and if space is available, they will be accepted. Residence halls are located around the Asa Packer campus at Lehigh. Some residential hall names are the following Centennial I Complex, Centennial II Complex, Dravo House, Drinker House, McClintic-Marshall House, Richards House, and Taylor House.

Student Safety

In 2019, Lehigh University reported 412 incidents of crime and safety involving students on or near campus, as well as on other campus-owned sites. With a student body of 6,953, that equates to 59.25 occurrences per 1,000 students. On and off campus, the LUPD is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment. A high level of professionalism in the department demonstrates that devotion. It is still one of the state's only five recognized university police departments. The Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association and the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators both accredited the Lehigh University Police Department (IACLEA).
