1. Regular Admission:
• Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65%, with no course grade lower than 50%, in the following high school courses:
• English Language Arts 30-1
• Mathematics 30-1
• Two of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Mathematics 31, Physics 30, or Computing Science-Advanced Level Career and Technology Studies (5 credits)
• One subject from Group A, B, C, or D
• Additional Criteria: Applicants with nine or more post-secondary credits must present a minimum Admission Grade Point Average (AGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
2. Mature Admission:
• Age and Experience: Applicants must be 20 years of age or older and have been out of full-time high school for at least one year by the beginning of the intake term.
• Academic Qualifications: A minimum overall average of 60%, with no course grade lower than 50%, in the following high school courses:
• English Language Arts 30-1
• Mathematics 30-1
• Two of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Mathematics 31, Physics 30, or Computing Science-Advanced Level Career and Technology Studies (5 credits)
• Additional Criteria: Applicants with nine or more post-secondary credits must present a minimum AGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
3. Previous Post-Secondary Admission:
• Academic Qualifications: Completion of a minimum of 24 university-level credits with a minimum AGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Coursework: Must include the required mathematics and science courses listed under the Regular or Mature Admission categories.
English Language Proficiency
All applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through standardized tests. The general requirements are:
• IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no skill below 5.5.
• TOEFL: Minimum score of 86 iBT, with at least 21 in each section.
• Duolingo: Minimum score of 115.
Program-Specific Requirements
Admission criteria can vary by program. For instance, the Bachelor of Fine Arts program requires:
• Regular Admission: Minimum overall average of 65%, with no course grade lower than 50%, in:
• English Language Arts 30-1 or 75% in English Language Arts 30-2
• Four subjects from Group A, B, C, or D
• Mature Admission: Applicants must be 20 years or older, out of full-time high school for at least one year, and have:

• OR six credits of university-level English with no grade less than C-
