First Academic Degree: Completion of a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) with at least 180 ECTS credits (or 3+ years of study). Partial completion (120–140 ECTS credits) may suffice if conditional admission is sought.

Minimum Grade Requirement: Typically around German grade 2.5 (“good”) or equivalent. Specific programs such as Data Science, Management, Social Data Science, Psychology, Law, and others have tailored grade thresholds and ECTS requirements.

Subject-Specific Coursework:

Master in Management: 36 ECTS in Business Administration

Social Data Science: 48 ECTS in mathematics/statistics

Business Informatics: specific ECTS in informatics, business, math/statistics

Law, Media & Communication, Education: relevant academic prerequisites as specified

Language Proficiency:

German?taught programs: German at least C1

Most English-track programs require English proficiency, with evidence submitted by August 15.

Selection Criteria (for selective programs): May include GMAT/GRE, semesters abroad, professional experience, letters of motivation, essays or interviews. Points awarded vary by program.
