Infrastructure & Facilities at McDaniel College Budapest

McDaniel College Budapest is located in a beautifully restored, turn-of-the-century school building that combines historic charm with modern functionality. The building is situated on Bethlen Gábor tér in District VII, adjacent to the Veterinary College of Szent István University. The campus infrastructure includes a computer lab with modern technology, fully equipped classrooms that support interactive and engaged learning, a board room for administrative and academic meetings, and a gymnasium for physical education and recreational activities. The building also houses a cafeteria where students can enjoy meals and socialize, as well as a Students' Clubroom that serves as a gathering space for student activities. The campus is well-lit and includes a video camera system for security, and an electronic access system provides greater security to students and staff entering the premises. The college is committed to providing a safe, accessible, and supportive environment for all community members.

McDaniel is a melting pot of different cultures, making it a perfect place for networking. The Student Advisory Council (SAC) plays an active role in campus life, organizing events such as Art & Wine Night, which brought nearly 30 students and faculty members together. The campus has revitalized its student-run podcast, MCDB-Clock It n'Go, and the SAC has relaunched its official TikTok channel. McDaniel International Day is a highlight of the campus calendar, featuring unique beverages, delicious foods, good cheer, and a true sense of community. Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at McDaniel College Budapest

The below information is required while
completing the university application :

1. Completion of secondary education and eligibility for entry into an institution of higher education according to the education laws of your home country.
2. For U.S. students: Diploma of Graduation from High School and adequate scores on SAT or ACT.
3. For British National Curriculum students: Adequate scores on GCSE exams in at least six subjects.
4. For Hungarian high school graduates: Completion of twelve years of general education and a Certificate of Final Examination (matriculation) in at least five subjects with adequate grades ("C" average).
5. A good working knowledge of English is essential. TOEFL or IELTS are not mandatory for admission but provide an advantage.
6. Students will be required to satisfy the TOEFL/IELTS requirement by the end of the 2nd academic year.
7. Students with at least 80 on the TOEFL Internet-based test or 6.5 on the IELTS will be granted merit-based discounts from the tuition fee.
