The building is situated on Bethlen Gábor tér in District VII, adjacent to the Veterinary College of Szent István University. The campus infrastructure includes a computer lab with modern technology, fully equipped classrooms that support interactive and engaged learning, a board room for administrative and academic meetings, and a gymnasium for physical education and recreational activities. The building also houses a cafeteria where students can enjoy meals and socialize, as well as a Students' Clubroom that serves as a gathering space for student activities. The campus is well-lit and includes a video camera system for security, and an electronic access system provides greater security to students and staff entering the premises. Student Support

McDaniel College Budapest places a strong emphasis on student support, recognizing that adjusting to the demands of academic life and a new urban environment can be stressful. The College provides two professional counselors, Mr. Levente Somogyi and Ms. Sarah Grunwell, who are available on campus several hours a week. Both have experience in multiple countries working with college students of diverse backgrounds and welcome students who would like to discuss academic pressures, personal problems, or cultural adjustments. All meetings and appointments are strictly confidential. Students can schedule appointments through the campus online platform using the Mindschedule feature. The college also provides excellent student services and full assistance upon arrival, including help with housing, obtaining residence permits, and health insurance. A staff member is dedicated to helping with housing, and support is available 24/7. The college also provides resources for non-academic needs, including mental health counseling. Students are encouraged to sample courses from different departments and can easily change majors, with all credits earned remaining on their record.

McDaniel College Budapest offers a vibrant and enriching student life experience in one of Europe's most exciting capital cities. McDaniel is a melting pot of different cultures, making it a perfect place for networking. Students and professors discover Budapest together, take trips to other European cities, and organize special events at McDaniel. The many experiences help students form lifelong friendships and collect memories they never forget. The Student Advisory Council (SAC) plays an active role in campus life, organizing events such as Art & Wine Night, which brought nearly 30 students and faculty members together. The campus has revitalized its student-run podcast, MCDB-Clock It n'Go, and the SAC has relaunched its official TikTok channel. McDaniel International Day is a highlight of the campus calendar, featuring unique beverages, delicious foods, good cheer, and a true sense of community. Students come from 5 continents and more than 21 countries, creating a truly global community.

Housing facilities (Accommodation)

McDaniel College Budapest provides housing assistance for its students, recognizing that comfortable and safe accommodation is essential for academic success. Housing costs range from EUR 3,500 to 4,500 per semester, depending on the type of accommodation required. The Budapest Campus does not have dormitory facilities and does not own any apartment buildings; therefore, it cannot provide on-campus housing for its students. Most international students live in rented apartments recommended by the housing service of the College. The Housing Services Office is located in Room 202 and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Apartments are likely to be located in different neighborhoods in relatively safe parts of the city, about a 30-minute commute to the College by public transport. A staff member is dedicated to helping students with housing arrangements.

Student Safety

McDaniel College Budapest is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all members of the campus community. The campus is well-lit and includes a video camera system for security. An electronic access system provides greater security to students and staff entering the premises. The college publishes an Annual Security Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This report provides statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus and in certain off-campus buildings or property owned, leased, or controlled by McDaniel College Budapest. Bulletins concerning certain crimes or safety issues are periodically circulated when necessary, by email and Facebook post if the matter is not time critical, and by both these means and SMS message if the matter is time critical. The McDaniel Budapest Messenger student newspaper may also be used to present crime prevention information. Community safety is a shared responsibility; all members of the community should understand and hold these values. The college encourages community members to promptly report any security concern, including concerns about locking mechanisms, lighting, or landscaping, to campus staff.
