Munster Technological University (MTU) does not own its own campus housing, but it does offer a variety of student housing options, including private rentals, shared houses/apartments, "digs" (homestays), and privately-run, purpose-built student apartments close to campuses like Bishopstown and Crawford College. The MTU Accommodation Office offers resources, listings, and assistance for locating locations like Lee Point, Amnis House, or Parchman.

The Careers Service actively interacts with MTU employees, employers, and students. For a year following the completion of their qualification, they mostly work with full-time students in all courses. Additionally, they support Apprentices, Springboard+, Human Capital Initiative, and Jobs Stimulus course participants with Careers Services. With a focus on employability, Munster Technological University (MTU) provides full-time students, apprentices, and graduates with career advice, employer engagement, work placements, skills development (CVs, interviews), and individualized guidance for a year after graduation through its dedicated Careers Service. In order to connect academic learning with practical career needs, important components include practical learning, industry-linked assignments (up to nine months), and programs for professional and personal development.
