Nanjing Medical University, originally established in 1934 as the National Jiangsu Medical College in Zhenjiang, has a long and distinguished history. In 1957, it relocated to Nanjing and was renamed Nanjing Medical College. By 1962, it became one of the first universities in China to launch a six-year medical education program.

Age: Under 30 years old (born after Sept 1, 1986).

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Health: Must be in good health.

Nationality: Non-Chinese citizens only.

Documents Required:

Notarized degree certificate, transcripts, and graduation/pre-graduation certificate (if graduating in 2025).

Valid passport (minimum 1-year validity).

Personal statement (min. 500 words).

Passport-sized photos.

Non-criminal record certificate.

Language Requirements:

Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4 for admission; HSK 5/6 for graduation.

English-taught programs: IELTS ≥6.0 / TOEFL ≥85 / equivalent.
