National College of Art and Design History                                        

National College of Art and Design abbreviated as NCAD is an Irish art school located in Dublin, Ireland. The school was established as a drawing school and was renamed to National College of Art in 1936. It was again renamed to Dublin Metropolitan School of Art subsequently adopting its present name in 1972. Presently, it is a recognised college of University College Dublin and enrols over 950 students.
