Campus Security: NLU’s Chicago campus is equipped with 24/7 security, including surveillance cameras, controlled access to buildings, and on-campus security personnel. Security guards monitor the campus to provide assistance and respond to any safety concerns. Emergency Alert System: NLU uses an emergency notification system to alert students and staff in case of emergencies such as severe weather, campus lockdowns, or other safety threats. Notifications are sent via text, email, and phone. Safe Zones and Support Services: NLU provides safe spaces for students to report incidents related to harassment, bullying, or discrimination. There are also designated safe zones for LGBTQ+ students and students who need additional support.
