1. Candidates must apply through the French national platform Parcoursup.

2. Eligible candidates must hold a General Baccalaureate with the Mathematics specialty or the Complementary Mathematics option.

3. Alternatively, candidates may hold a Technological Baccalaureate in the STI2D (Sciences and Technologies of Industry and Sustainable Development) stream.

Admission to ENTPE depends on your academic background: for students from preparatory classes for the "Grandes Écoles" (MP, PC, MPI, PSI, TSI, PT, BCPST streams), recruitment is through competitive entrance examinations; for students with a bachelor's or master's level, recruitment is based on an application file. ENTPE is divided into two components in the entrance exams: civil and civil servant. A candidate may select one and/or the other. The number of places offered in 2025 was 112 for civil servant students and 95 for civil students.
