Learning Services provides remedial tutoring in reading, writing, math, and study skills, as well as non‑remedial tutoring. The Office of Student Involvement works to maximize personal growth and development by facilitating opportunities for involvement, service, and leadership in co‑curricular activities.

Almost 80% of students live on campus across 10 residential communities, with a total dormitory capacity of approximately 895–982 students. Housing options include Copper Beech Apartments, Remillard, Olsen, Budleigh, Kuppenheimer, Shamie and Winston Hall, with multiple‑occupancy bedrooms available. The Office of Residence Life is committed to creating safe, comfortable, and inclusive homes for all students regardless of sex, gender, or gender expression/identity. Campus safety is a top priority, with Public Safety officers receiving continual training and certification in emergency medical response procedures, including First Responder, CPR and AED. Nichols College offers 24‑hour foot and vehicle patrols, late night transport/escort service, 24‑hour emergency telephones, lighted pathways/sidewalks, and controlled dormitory access (key, security card, etc.).
