Frequently Asked Questions

The admission process begins by submitting an online form. You'll then prepare and upload your high school transcript and certificate, birth certificate, six passports photos, and English language proof (IELTS ≥6.0, TOEFL ≥61, etc.) . For architecture or transferred students, additional materials like course descriptions and withdrawal letters may be required. Once your dossier is complete, you'll sit a screening test or interview, after which admission decisions are released.
For graduate admission, NU requires your original bachelor’s degree, official transcripts, a CV, personal statement, and three recommendation letters. Additionally, English proficiency is needed—typically TOEFL iBT ≥61 or IELTS ≥6.0, with higher scores required for some programs (e.g. MOT). If you're from a foreign or private university, an equivalency certificate is needed
Transfer students must submit a withdrawal letter from their previous university, complete transcripts (stamped by both the previous institution and the Supreme Council of Universities), official course descriptions, and a “Bayan Hala” (academic standing statement). Admission standards may vary depending on past academic performance.
