NU maintains 24/7 CCTV coverage across hostels, academic buildings, and recreational zones. Entry gates require student ID verification, and security officers are stationed throughout the campus. A dedicated night patrol team and residential supervisors ensure safety after dark. Guest access is monitored using a formal pass system. Shuttle services add another layer of commuting safety.
Hostels have round-the-clock CCTV, live-in supervisors, and emergency medical access. Floors are overseen by graduate supervisors (one per ~15 students) to enforce safety and welfare protocols. ID checks and guest monitoring reinforce a secure residential environment.
NU operates an on-campus medical clinic open daily until late evening, staffed by doctors and nurses who offer first-aid, injury treatment, and emergency coordination. They also administer student medical insurance and run health campaigns such as blood drives and nutrition workshops.
