Every undergraduate degree offered by NTU is intended to provide you with practical knowledge and work experience, together with a range of flexible placement opportunities to meet your goals and needs. As part of their course, all students are required to complete a minimum of eight weeks of work-like experience that is evaluated. These brief experiences help you gain confidence, acquire critical workplace skills, and apply what you've learned in real-world situations. A year-long placement is the best way to advance your experience and lay the groundwork for your future profession. You can choose to move to a year-long placement at any time during your first or second year of a four-year sandwich course, which often occurs in the third year.
