Orenburg State University History                                    

Orenburg State University is a Russian higher education establishment located in Orenburg. The university was established as Evening Education Branch of Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute in 1955 and after subsequent name changes it adopted its present name in 1996. The university currently enrols over 43000 students.
