To apply for a Master’s degree programme at Oamk, you must already hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent higher education degree. The degree should be in a relevant field related to the Master’s programme you are applying for. The relevance is checked based on the specific programme’s admission criteria.
A key requirement for Master’s applicants is at least two (2) years of relevant professional work experience obtained after completing your Bachelor’s or equivalent degree. This work experience must be in the same field as your previous degree or related to the Master’s programme you intend to study. Part-time work is converted to full-time equivalence for this calculation.
In creative fields such as arts, design, theater, dance or visual communication, professional artistic activity (e.g., portfolio work) of a similar length can sometimes replace traditional work experience.
You must demonstrate proficiency in English as part of the application. Typically, this is done by submitting a recognised English language test score (such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency, or an equivalent). Some qualifications — like a prior degree completed in English or 20 ECTS of university study in English — may also satisfy this requirement, depending on Oamk’s rules.
