1. International students applying for postgraduate programmes at the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL) generally need to hold a recognised third level/bachelor’s degree relevant to the chosen programme.

2. Applicants whose degree was obtained outside Ecuador must provide a copy of the degree that has been apostilled or legalised through the Ecuadorian consular process.

3. They must also submit a colour copy of their passport, a CV/resumé in the university’s preferred format, and complete the programme’s admission interview, which can generally be conducted through Zoom or an online form.

4. Some programmes may request additional documents depending on their specific admission requirements.

5. The application process is completed online through UTPL’s postgraduate admissions portal: applicants create an account, select their programme, complete the admission application and upload the required documents.

6. The admission committee reviews the application and documents before communicating the result.

7. Once accepted, students confirm their place, accept the terms and conditions and complete the enrolment and tuition payment process.

8. International academic documents issued in a language other than Spanish may require an appropriate legalised or apostilled Spanish translation.
