The Claremore campus is the main campus, situated atop a hill overlooking the city of Claremore, and serves as the administrative and academic hub of the university. The university also operates campuses in Bartlesville and Pryor, extending its reach across northeastern Oklahoma. RSU's physical infrastructure includes academic buildings, administrative offices, residential facilities, athletic venues, and recreational spaces. The university has invested in modern facilities such as the Centennial Center, the Case Athletic Performance Center, and the Stratton Taylor Library. The campus features lighted pathways and sidewalks, controlled dormitory access, and 24-hour foot and vehicle patrols by the RSU Police Department. The university's infrastructure also includes the RSU Conservation Education Reserve, a 100-acre outdoor recreation area, and the RCB Bank Sports Complex, located west of the RSU campus on Blue Starr Drive, which hosts baseball, softball, and golf teams. The university's technology infrastructure includes computerized learning laboratories and high-technology learning environments that support both on-campus and distance education programs. RSU focuses on excellence in teaching and learning while seeking to become a regional leader in Quality Matters approved distance education.

Student organizations are a cornerstone of campus life, and RSU actively encourages participation in campus organizations and student activities because such exchanges can help shape students into well-rounded citizens who can make a difference in their communities. From bass fishing, gaming, and other activities to Student Government, Greek life, and honor societies, RSU offers diverse student organization options for students to pursue their passions. The university embraces a holistic approach to campus life to support success in the classroom and beyond, from academic and career support to wellness and dining. Campus dining options include Chapman Dining Hall, which offers all-you-care-to-eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner with rotating homestyle menu options, made-to-order sandwiches, burgers, pizza, desserts, a salad bar, and vegan and vegetarian choices; the Hillcat Hut Café offers made-to-order deli sandwiches, wraps, pizza, burgers, and more; and the Hilltop Coffee Shop provides Starbucks coffee and refreshing fresh-squeezed fruit juice. RSU's picturesque campus provides a comprehensive college life experience, nestled along historic Route 66 in Claremore, which offers an array of dining, shopping, museums, and other activities usually only found in larger cities. Students can also enjoy outdoor recreation at the 100-acre RSU Conservation Education Reserve and nearby Claremore and Oologah lakes, or take a quick 25-minute drive to Tulsa for thriving arts, music, and culture.

Rogers State University offers on-campus housing options designed to foster personal growth and success, enhancing the college experience by breaking away from traditional cinder block dormitories. The university's residential facilities include University Village A (UVA) student apartments, which are designated for sophomore, junior, and senior level students and offer the most contemporary, service-oriented accommodations available to students. RSU also offers University Village B and C complexes, providing a range of unit layouts with furnished residence halls that balance privacy and economy. Campus housing is available for all unmarried students regardless of year, and the Office of Residential Life allows students to reside in all three complexes while the University is closed for academic breaks. The university's on-campus housing capacity was doubled in 2011 with the opening of a new student apartment complex featuring two and four-bedroom apartments. Living on campus provides students with a supportive environment, and RSU's residential life program is designed to enhance the college experience through community-building activities and close proximity to academic resources. The Clubhouse, located between UVB and UVC dorms, serves as a community space for residential students.

Rogers State University maintains a strong commitment to campus safety through the Rogers State University Police Department (RSUPD), which is responsible for campus safety at the university. RSUPD is staffed by commissioned peace officers who meet the Oklahoma Council for Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) standards. The department provides 24-hour foot and vehicle patrols, and the campus features lighted pathways and sidewalks, as well as controlled dormitory access requiring key or security card entry. In the event of an emergency, students can call 911, and the Campus Police can be reached at 918-343-7624 or via the 24/7 officer cell/patrol phone at 918-857-2807. RSU takes reports of gender-based misconduct very seriously and has an obligation to respond appropriately to those reports in order to provide a safe, non-discriminatory environment. The university publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. RSU also maintains a Threat Assessment Review Committee and provides resources for reporting incidents, ensuring a comprehensive approach to campus safety that supports the university's mission of maintaining an environment of physical safety supportive of teaching and learning.
