Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science History
One of the units of the university got established in the year 1912 that is the Chicago Hospital College of Medicine. In 1930, it became the Chicago Medical School. Then in 1960, it was decided that there should be another university that would allow students to be trained under one roof. In 1967, the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School was formed and with this two more medical schools got added. Later in 2004, the university was renamed as Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
