Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences

You must have completed (or will complete before studies begin) an upper secondary qualification that gives eligibility for higher education in the country where it was awarded. This includes high school diplomas, International Baccalaureate (IB), European Baccalaureate (EB) or other comparable foreign qualifications. Applicants must submit official transcripts and certificates with translations into English, Finnish, or Swedish if necessary. 

You apply through the Finnish national portal Studyinfo.fi within the specified application period (e.g., rolling admission or joint application rounds). Non EU/EEA applicants pay an application fee (about €100).

All international applicants must prove English proficiency using accepted tests such as:

IELTS Academic (min. 6.0),

TOEFL iBT (min. 60),

PTE Academic (min. 55), or equivalent accepted qualifications.
Some English language certificates from secondary education may also be accepted.

Selection typically happens through:

International UAS Entrance Exam (online test),

Certificate based selection evaluating school results,

In some cases SAT test scores (with minimum scores specified) during rolling admissions. 

You must upload a copy of a valid passport, translated educational documents if needed, and any additional programme specific documents. If you are still graduating, you can attach a temporary certificate by the application deadline and submit the final certificate later.
