The disability resources at the School of Visual Arts help to create an accessible and inclusive campus environment where students with disabilities have equal access to educational programs and the opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of campus life. Disability Resources works to improve the educational experiences of students with disabilities through advocacy and collaboration with students, faculty, and staff members. The International Student Office at the School of Visual Arts' mission is to provide services and programs that assist international students in achieving their educational goals. This is accomplished through regulatory immigration advice (ensuring that international students maintain valid visa status and the College remains compliant with federally mandated reporting measures), cultural adjustment and intercultural understanding programs for the SVA community, and assistance with practical matters related to living in the United States.
