Semmelweis University History

Semmelweis University was established in the year 1769. It is a research-led and medical school which is situated in Budapest in Hungary. It has got a long history of development starting from war of independence to its survival and revival to its part in inter-war years, post-war years and 21^st century.

Semmelweis University is divided into six academic faculties and one doctoral school.
