Southeastern Louisiana University History

Southeastern Louisiana University was established in the year 1925 as Hammond Junior College. It is a public university which is situated in Hammond in Louisiana. Its name changed to Southeastern Louisiana College in 1928 and finally gained its recognition as Southeastern Louisiana University in 1970.
