Submit a completed application (by the published deadlines).
Provide official high school transcripts showing coursework and grades.
High school coursework requirements include (minimum):
• 4 years of English
• 3 years of Mathematics
• 3 years of Lab Science
• 3 years of Social Science
• 2 years of Electives
Automatic admission criteria: meet at least one of:
• High school GPA of 2.6 or higher (on 4.0 scale)
• High school GPA of 2.0 or higher plus SAT (ERW + Math) ≥ 990 or ACT ≥ 19
• Ranking in the top 10% of high school class
Students whose GPA lies between 2.0 and 2.59 may be considered by an Admissions Review Committee, with additional materials required (7th semester transcript, personal statement).
SAT / ACT scores are optional (i.e. not required) for admission consideration.
Transfer students:
• If they have 30 or more semester hours from accredited institutions, they are admissible if they have a GPA ≥ 2.00 in prior college coursework.
• If fewer than 30 semester hours, they must satisfy first-year admission criteria in addition to their college coursework.
Program / major-specific requirements: Some majors (e.g. Nursing, Business) have additional direct entry criteria. For example, the BS in Business Administration requires meeting one of the automatic admission benchmarks.
Similarly, Nursing direct-entry requires those same benchmarks.
