General Graduate Admission Criteria
Applicants must have a completed baccalaureate (undergraduate) degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent if outside U.S.).
Submit official transcripts from undergraduate and prior graduate institutions.
Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the undergraduate degree, though individual programs may require higher or consider exceptions.
Demonstrate proficiency in writing / scholarly ability (e.g. via essays, writing samples).
For applicants whose native language is not English, submit English proficiency test (e.g. TOEFL iBT ≥ 80 or IELTS ≥ 6.5); waived if you earned degree in U.S. institution.
For international degrees, an accredited credential evaluation is required to verify equivalence to U.S. standards.
Programs may require additional materials (statement of purpose, résumé / CV, recommendations, interviews) or prerequisites.
Program-Specific Requirements (Examples)
Entry-Level MSN (Master of Science in Nursing, Entry Level)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0, with possibility to petition if GPA is between 2.80–2.99.
• Completion of prerequisite undergraduate courses with grades of C or better (including anatomy, physiology, statistics, psychology, etc.).
• The prerequisite coursework must satisfy time limits (for example, must be completed within seven years) for certain science courses.
MBA Program
• Holistic review is used; preferred GPA of 3.0, but lower GPAs may be considered with additional materials.
• Submit transcripts, English proficiency (if applicable), and possibly an explanation if GPA < 3.0.
• Some applicants may be asked to interview, submit recommendations, or provide other supporting documentation.
