Applicants must submit high school transcripts. SCSU is test-optional, i.e., SAT/ACT scores are not required.  A college-preparatory curriculum (English, math, science, social studies, world language) is recommended.
International applicants must provide transcripts (translated if needed) and proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS) unless their prior education was in English. They will receive an I-20 (for F-1 visa) or DS-2019 (for J-1 exchange) to apply for their student visas.
Graduate applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.  They submit official transcripts, a statement of purpose, possibly test scores (if required by program), and English proficiency if applicable.
