General Admission Requirements for Master’s Programs at UEM
1. Academic Records
Bachelor’s Degree: A completed undergraduate degree from a recognized institution.
Transcripts: Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
GPA Requirement: A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is typically required.

2. English Language Proficiency
If the program is taught in English, international students must submit:
IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0 (or 5.5 for conditional admission).
TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 71 (or 61–70 for conditional admission).
Note: If the program is in Portuguese, students may need to demonstrate proficiency in Portuguese instead.
3. Financial Statement
A documented proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses while in Brazil is required. This can be a bank statement or a sponsor’s affidavit.
4. Additional Documents
Letter of Application: A short written statement or letter expressing your interest in the program.
Copy of Passport: Personal identification page of a valid passport.
