Completed online application form and application fee.

Official high school transcripts/diploma, with English translations if required.

For international students: certified credential evaluation of secondary education, copy of valid passport, and proof of finances if required.

Proof of English language proficiency for applicants whose first language is not English.

Entrance Test:

SUNY ESF does not require SAT or ACT scores for admission; submitting such scores is optional and based on individual applicant strategy.

Admission evaluation emphasizes high school academic record (GPA, rigor of coursework), completion of a college-preparatory program, and other supporting materials.

Language Test Requirements (for non-native English speakers):

TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79 (Undergraduate).

IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band 6.0, with no less than 5.0 in Writing.

Duolingo English Test: Minimum score 100.

PTE Academic: Minimum score 53.

Exemptions may apply if the applicant has completed secondary or post-secondary education in an English-speaking country or institution.
