UPSI operates two main campuses: Sultan Abdul Jalil Shah Campus (KSAJS) in Tanjong Malim and Sultan Azlan Shah Campus (KSAS) in Proton City. Key buildings include the UPSI Auditorium, Bitarasiswa Building, and the Black Box. The university is also developing the University Residential & Community Center (URCC), an international-standard residential college designed to accommodate more than 2,500 students with modern facilities.

Student welfare at UPSI is managed by the Student Affairs Department (Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar, BHEP), which is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering quality student development programs and services. Student welfare is divided into four scopes that always take care of the student's welfare and well-being. The Bitarasiswa Building serves as a friendly one-stop hub where students can get guidance, advice, and services, including the Counselling Centre. The university also demonstrates its commitment through initiatives like the Ziarah Prihatin program, where BHEP and the WEZAS center visit students in need.
