Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at Technical University of Dresden

Applicants must possess a general higher education entrance qualification (e.g., the German Abitur or an equivalent foreign certificate). 

For programmes taught in German: proof of German language proficiency is required (for example: DSH level 2 or equivalent, or TestDaF TDN 4). 

Some programmes may require a selection process (e.g., written test or interview) for restricted admission (“Numerus Clausus”). 

Applicants from abroad may need to apply via the uni-assist portal (depending on the programme and qualification). 

Deadlines: often 15 July for winter semester entry for many programmes.
