• All First-year applicants must submit official high school transcripts.
• TCNJ is going test-optional (SAT or ACT) for the next three years starting with the 2020–21 admissions cycle. 
• TOEFL or IELTS scores if English is not the applicant’s native language or if English is not the language of instruction in the high school or university. A minimum score of 90 is recommended for the Internet-Based TOEFL exam and a score of 7.0 or higher is recommended for the IELTS.
• The Common Application or Coalition Application essay, which provides a choice of several topics, is the official essay used in the evaluation process.
