The campus is located in a busy area next to the central station and is monitored by security personnel and CCTV. The Hague is generally a very safe international city, but as with any urban area, students are advised to be aware of their surroundings, especially at night.
The campus employs a team of security officers who patrol the building. Access to the building requires a student ID card outside regular opening hours. There are also emergency phones and a clear protocol for reporting any security incidents.
In an immediate emergency, you should first call the Dutch emergency number 112. You should then also contact the university's Security team via their dedicated emergency phone number, which is provided to all students upon enrolment.
