Through a number of initiatives, such as a "Safe Taxi Scheme" and a variety of support services, the University of Abertay Dundee and its Student Association place a high priority on the safety and wellbeing of their students. Through the Safe Taxi Scheme, which is in collaboration with TeleTaxis, students who feel insecure can call a cab home without having to pay right away; the Students' Association will then reimburse the cost. Additionally, the university has a Support Enquiry Zone (SEZ) that offers advice on a range of topics related to college life, such as money, health, academics, and career advancement.
