1. Academic Requirements

Completion of an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international equivalent (such as A-levels, IB Diploma, or high school certificates).

A minimum ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) or an equivalent score depending on the chosen program.

Some programs may have prerequisite subjects (e.g., Mathematics for Engineering, Chemistry for Medicine).

2. English Language Proficiency

International students must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following tests:

IELTS: Overall 6.5, with no band less than 6.0 (higher for some programs).

TOEFL iBT: Minimum 79, with at least 21 in Writing.

PTE Academic: Minimum 58, with no section below 50.

Cambridge C1 Advanced: Overall 176, with no band below 169.

Students from English-speaking countries or those who have studied in English-medium institutions may be exempt.

3. Required Documents

Completed online application form via SATAC or the university website.

Official academic transcripts (translated if not in English).

English proficiency test scores (if applicable).

Copy of passport.

Statement of purpose or personal statement (for certain programs).

Portfolio or auditions (for creative arts programs).

4. Additional Requirements

Interviews (for competitive courses like Medicine, Dentistry, and Law).

Work experience or prerequisite courses (for specific fields like Business or Health Sciences).

Bridging/Foundation Programs: If students don’t meet direct entry requirements, they may qualify through the University of Adelaide College Foundation Program.
