1. Academic Preparation:
• High School Coursework: Applicants are expected to complete a series of college-preparatory courses, commonly referred to as the “A-G” subject requirements:
• History/Social Science: 2 years
• English: 4 years
• Mathematics: 3 years required (4 years recommended)
• Laboratory Science: 2 years required (3 years recommended)

2. Grade Point Average (GPA):
• A minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale is required for non-California residents. The middle 50% of admitted students have a GPA ranging from 3.69 to 4.11.
