1. Academic Qualifications

Completed secondary education equivalent to the Czech maturita exam (high school diploma).

Strong background in chemistry, mathematics, and physics (verified via transcript review).

Minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5/4.0 (varies by program; competitive programs may require higher).

2. Language Proficiency

English-taught programs:

IELTS 6.0+ (no subscore below 5.5) / TOEFL iBT 72+ / Cambridge B2 First (FCE).

Note: Some programs (e.g., Chemistry & Technology) may require IELTS 6.5+.

Czech-taught programs:

B2 level certificate (e.g., CCE exam) for non-native speakers.

3. Entrance Exams

Science-focused programs:

Written tests in chemistry, mathematics, and physics (held June–September).

Alternative: Submit SAT Subject Tests (Chemistry/Math Level 2) or IB/AP scores (may exempt you from exams).

Interview: Required for some programs (e.g., Biotechnology).

4. Required Documents

Notarized copy of high school diploma + transcripts (translated to English/Czech if necessary).

CV (highlighting relevant coursework/extracurriculars).

Motivation letter (program-specific, 500–700 words).

Proof of language proficiency.

Application fee: 800 CZK (~€32, non-refundable).

5. Visa Requirements (Non-EU Students)

Admission letter from UCT Prague.

Proof of finances (~€5,200/year in a blocked account).

Health insurance (minimum €60,000 coverage).
